Substitute Teacher Application Procedure:
Effective Monday, September 16, 2013
Substitute applicants now have to go to one of the schools to apply to substitute. Applicants fill out the application at the school, and then have an informal interview with the principal. The principal will then recommend or not recommend the person as a substitute (which will be good for all four schools). After that, the principal will send the application to the central office for further processing.
Substitute pay is $55.00 per day non-certified
$65.00 per day for certified (four year college degree)
Long Term Substitutes (more than 20 days consecutively) are paid $100.00 per day.
